Outdoor Living Space & Gardening
My husband and I have been waiting to have our own house to start growing our garden. We love cooking and having fresh ingredients so we figured we should start growing our own herbs and veggies. A tad bit nervous because we also got our first plant babies this weekend! Praying that we can keep them alive haha.
When it comes to plants, one thing we don’t really have is a green thumb. If my husband was here, he’d probably say “speak for yourself” haha. But it’s true! My husband is away on work trips all the time (for those who don’t know, he’s a commercial pilot). Meaning that when he’s home from his 5 day trips, the last thing we want to do is yard work. I most definitely won’t want to especially that we love being out of the house when he’s home. I mean who am I kidding, i love hiking and the outdoors but i don’t like playing around in the dirt and to be honest, i hate bugs haha.
With having your own home, it comes with cutting the grass, planting flowers and keeping our curbside appeal somewhat appealing! I mean i love driving by houses and seeing their perfectly green grass and exotic flowers growing. It definitely adds a little extra to the house and i definitely want my house looking nice not only on the inside but also on the outside. Now that winter is over, all the trees and grass are finally growing back. Homes are starting to look more alive and what a better time than to have some beautiful plants and beautiful landscaping as well!
So what happens to those that don’t have the time to do their own landscaping? We hire a professional!! Not only do we hire a professional but we hire someone who is experienced. And after reading about Onorato Landscaping LLC this is the kind of company I’d want to hire! They are a Bergen county based company that has been in business for over 10 years. They will come out and give your home a free estimate on any of the work you would need done. That to me is a big bonus because I love being able to get an estimate for free and also see what they would recommend based on the layout and sizing of my front and back yard. One major plus for me was the fact that they do weekly lawn maintenance and spring and fall cleanup. That is a big plus for us especially when the leaves start falling and we need major fall cleanup outside. Not only do they do landscaping for homes, they also offer:
yard drainage
landscaping lighting
lawn care and maintenance
hedge/ bush rimming
sprinkler system
They have so many other services that offer on their website. Not only do they work with residential homes, but they also do landscaping for commercial businesses. They offer a variety of services for commercial businesses such as snow removal, walkway design and so much more. So any Nj business in need of some landscaping to brighten up their business?
One thing that caught my attention with hardscaping in Bergen county is the beautiful work they do. Their portfolio is filled with beautiful landscaping work. They will make your backyard and front yard look like paradise! They offer services such as:
building outdoor fireplaces
paving driveways
patios
retaining and rock walls
walkways and masonry
stairways and stoops
pool areas
outdoor kitchens
They will come and fully design your entire landscape to make it look like your dream yard. An outdoor kitchen is such a great thing to have when you are entertaining guest. I for one would LOVE to have an outdoor built in fireplace with some outdoor furniture. We love having people over so having a great outdoor hangout spot is exactly what we need in our backyard.
We have so many things we’d love to do to our backyard such as string lights, outdoor fire pit, and making our covered patio/deck super cozy. We are so excited to have people over our home for bqqs and bonfires! I love saving all my ideas on my Pinterest boards for my current home and of course our dream home! So make sure you follow me on their for some major home inspo.
I hope you are all enjoying this NJ business mini series! There is nothing better than supporting local companies especially in this uncertain time in all our lives.
Thank you to Onorato Landscaping for sponsoring this post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
