Here Come The Big Changes || Local ATL Business
Hey friends!
Happy 4th of July weekend. Hubs and I are away in Florida to see family and get some much needed sun. My mom just down to the Orlando so we came to welcome her to the south as well as visit my dad in the Tampa Bay Area. We were able to get out of work early on Friday and hop on a way earlier flight which is always amazing because it gives us extra time with family. We love it down here so much and praying that this is where we end up living in s few years (maybe sooner).
We have some major changes coming up in life which can be scary and exciting at the same time. We made some big changes towards the end of 2020 when we picked up our lives in New Jersey and moved down to Georgia. That caused a roller coaster of emotions as we were moving to an unknown city with no friends or family. I left my job of 6 years to start a new career path that I didn’t know if I was going to like. Now here we are 9 months into living in the south and it’s time for big decisions again.
Our lease is up for renewal and we decided we didn’t want to renew it. We have gone back and forth on where we should live. Should we move closer to the city? (Currently about 30 min from ATL) Should we just make the move to Florida? What about Tennessee? Should we just buy a house in the ATL area already? So many questions and choices to make.
I an the type of person that when it comes to big changes, I am stressed, anxious, and nervous. We are comfortable in our current rental so why move? But my commute sucks and honestly everything is better closer to ATL. We want to be closer to the airport and also closer and within the “perimeter” of Atlanta. With all these big changes, it causes major mental health alerts. All the sudden I’m over eating, over sleeping, skipping workouts, and just very anxious all day.
When I came across Ray of Hope Counseling Services, I knew talking to someone could help deal with all these mental struggles I am going through. Just having someone to talk to who is a professional and could help you find ways to help cope is all what therapy is about. Especially after the tough year of 2020 where everything was so unknown and scary, therapy can definitely help with any fears you maybe struggling with.
Ray of Hope are a group of psychotherapist who offers many types of services. Some of the type of services they offer are Online counseling, marriage counseling, Individual counseling, family counseling, and many more. You can find their offices in Kennesaw, Alpharetta, Conyers, Athens, Canton, Peachtree City, East Cobb/Marietta and Lawrenceville, GA.
They are dedicated to helping, healing, and strengthening individuals, families, and couples with all of life’s changes and challenges. Life changes causes so many mental changes that talking with someone about it is always a good idea. They can find ways to help with the feelings you may be going through. I have done therapy growing up and always felt that it helped me understand my feelings a lot better. It’s was also amazing to have someone who is neutral hear you.
If you aren’t comfortable with in person consultation, they are also now doing tele-health which is online or on the phone. How amazing that you can get therapy in the comfort of your own home. I definitely recommend check them out if you are in need of any counseling services. For all my ATL friends who live south of Atlanta they also offer Therapy in Peachtree City .
I hope you all enjoy the small business blog post I’ve been doing. There is nothing better than supporting a local business especially after the tough year many of us had in 2020. I hope you all have a safe and happy fourth. Hoping the rain stays away at least until Tuesday. Now I am hearing there is a hurricane heading straight to us so wish us luck haha.
