Favorite Breakfast Spots In NYC
Let's be honest, there are hundreds of breakfast spots to try in NYC. Will i ever get to all of them? Heck no haha. But at least i can try. For those who don't follow me on social media, I am in the city every weekend. I'm either have breakfast, visiting an art exhibit, out for lunch or dinner, or just shopping. So since I'm always out eating there and trying new places, I've decided to write about on of my favorite things: FOOD. I'm always out eating and looking for great new places to try. I decided that it was time to put a list together of places that I love. I am not really a picky eater but there are a few things I look at when deciding on new places to eat such reviews, location, prices, and decor. When looking for new places, I am looking at the prices to make sure it's afforadble and nothing to crazy. I also love a place that has great decor! It just makes the breakfast more Instagrammable haha. As for the reviews, I always make sure that the place has great reviews because who wants to eat at a place that only has 1 star?
1. Bubby's High Line
This place is incredible. From the food to the crowd, it's always so busy because their food is delicious. I recommend the pancakes here (they offer sourdough & James beard pancakes, both amazing!). After stuffing your face here, you can take a stroll on the high line which is right across the street!
2. Clinton Street Baking Company
Every New Yorker knows this place has the best pancakes hands down. They are so fluffy and delicious! They have it all here from huevo rancheros to fried chicken and waffles to omelettes. Get here early even before they open because the lines get CRAZY.
3. BlueStone Lane
This is an Australian breakfast spot in the village. It has such beautiful decor with outdoor seating for the warmer weather. It's a healthier breakfast spot so you'll see things such as avocado toast or a kale bowl with eggs and other delicious veggies! PS the coffee is also amazing!
4. The Butchers Daughter
This will forever be a favorite. Also another healthier breakfast option and such awesome decor. It's a plant based restaurant which means you won't find any bacon! It's also juice bar which has an awesome selection of fruits and veggies!
5. Catch
Cake here once for a birthday brunch and I absolutely loved it. They also have a great champagne and orange juice deal on their prixe fix menu for a mimosa kind of morning! I recommend trying their cinnamon roll pancakes!
6. Le Pain Q
I've been going here since i was about 12! It was a Sunday morning ritual (when we lived in Staten Island). We would take the ferry from Staten Island and ride bikes up to Hudson street. We love their organic bread basket. They provide so many spreads such as hazelnut, vanilla, cookie butter, and so many fruit jams. Aside from the bread, my favorite thing here is the Sunny side breakfast bowl.
I can go on and on about the best spots but these are my all time favorites. If you have any new spots for me to try, drop a comment down below! I'm putting together a bunch of best pizza in nyc and also my favorite spots for dessert so make sure to subscribe to my blog! Happy Tuesday y'all!
